| Description: | Service Manager
As a Service Manager, you will be accountable for courteous, expert customer service. You will possess a passion to excel and a drive to be the best in the field, while establishing a trusting relationship based on integrity and fairness with customers and showing a sincere concern for needs.
Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and previous experience in the automotive field.
Basic Job Duties will include:
- Determining the customer's needs, addressing problems, complaints, requests, questions, and communicating the customer's needs to the service group and verifying the appropriate services have been completed.
- Preparing accurate estimates and billings for customers.
- Selling tires, automotive accessories, service repairs and preventative maintenance to satisfy customer's needs.
- Maintaining current product knowledge on all tires, service and other product lines that are represented.
- Motivating and managing technicians and assigning work orders in accordance with skill levels and workloads.
- Assuring customer deadlines and repair schedules are managed and adhered to.
- Functioning as backup to Store Leader when necessary and appropriate.
- Performing tire & lube technician duties if necessary.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Tire and Automotive, Sales and Customer Service, Store Operations knowledge and skills.
Typical Work Hours:
7:30AM to 6:00PM Monday to Saturday (day off during the week - 5 day work week). Closed Sundays.
